Chef Boy started with two brothers, a love for the plant, and a dog named Laifu. The Chen brothers began growing cannabis in high school out of pure passion for the plant. What started as a hobby grew into a dream: owning their own legal farm and cultivating the kind of fire they loved to smoke.
In 2020, that dream became reality when a family friend and legacy grower secured a cultivation license. Since then, the brothers, alongside a team of expert cultivators—some with roots dating back to the early 2000s—have been elevating the craft, growing small-batch, top-shelf cannabis while staying true to their roots.
To honor Laifu’s role in their journey, he’s proudly featured as our mascot, a symbol of good vibes and the love and loyalty Chef Boy has for cannabis.
